The plans for a sequel was first reported in 2002, but after 9 / 11 terrorist attacks in New York, the project was put on hold. Jim says that it can not be called True Lies II, but it will be fun. Starpulse Arnold says, If all goes as planned, the day Arnold [Schwarzenegger] leaves office will once again team up with him and Cameron make a comedy. . Arnold Schwarzenegger is planning to make a True Lie sequel. The two Arnolds star in the 1994 action-comedy film alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Bil Paxton and Tia Carrere. According to friend and co-star Tom Arnold, he and the Governator of California will be working together again for another comedy.
